I Remember it Like it Was Yesterday….
“Where did you come from, River?” I said as I picked up my dropped sonic, “I thoughtI wasn’t going to see you for another week, well 675 years really, but you know what I mean.”
“Well, if you must know, I came from a certain wedding night of your two best friends, but if you really must know, I just got back from a rather long adventure”
“What do you mean?” I responded, confused by her dual response.
“About what, sweetie? i thought I was perfectly clear. But have you heard about the building they’re planning to construct in New new York? I heard it’s going to be absolutely fabulous. Unless you’ve already been…” I lean on the console, smiling secretively
“Just forget it.” I said with a smile. ”Absolutely fabulous, huh? Maybe we should go, we still haven’t had a honeymoon, you know.” This was just weeks after River and I got married and I was looking forward to spending some time with her.

#THIS HURTS IN UNEXPECTED WAYS #BECAUSE IN THE FIRST GIF SHE’S SAYING GOODBYE TO HER NORMAL BORING LIFE AND TRADING IT FOR ALL OF TIME AND SPACE #AND IN THE SECOND ONE SHE’S DOING THE EXACT OPPOSITE #SHE’S GIVING UP ALL OF THE ADVENTURES SHE MIGHT HAVE JUST TO LIVE A CALM MARRIED LIFE WITH RORY #and i bet you anything that the young amy pond in the first gif would have never expected herself to make such a decision #this is what you call character development ladies and gentlemen
